SECURITY & PRIVACY
Every app in its own box. Lid closed.
You didn't write the code, so you shouldn't have to trust it. Sanduq runs each app sealed off from everything else, and asks you before it touches the internet.

01
Sealed
Each app runs on its own. What it saves is private to that app, and it can't see your other apps, your photos or your files.
02
Offline by default
A new app can't reach the internet. It only can once you allow a specific website, one at a time.
03
Stays on your phone
No account needed. Your apps and their data live on your device. We never see what you import.
04
Yours to take
Export any app or its data whenever you like. Delete it and it is gone from your phone.
THE INTERNET, ONE SITE AT A TIME
Blocked is the default. You decide the rest.
The first time an app tries to reach a website, Sanduq stops and names it. Keep it blocked, or allow that one site. Allowing one never allows others, and you can remove any site later in App settings.

Straight answers
Can an app read my photos, contacts or messages?
No. Apps in Sanduq can't see anything outside their own box.
Can an app send my data somewhere?
Only to websites you've allowed for that app. Everything else is blocked.
Can apps see each other?
No. Each app has its own private storage.
What about link apps?
Link apps are websites, so they open in your phone's browser view with your usual logins and need a connection. An arrow badge on the icon tells them apart.
Does Sanduq upload my apps?
No. Your apps stay on your phone. Cloud backup will come later with Pro, and it will be off until you turn it on.
Do I need an account?
No. You only give us an email if you join the waitlist.
